Because FlowDesk is Local-First, your data never leaves your computer. Everything is stored locally in an open SQLite database file.

Automatic Backups

By default, FlowDesk automatically creates daily backups of your database to prevent data loss in case of a crash or accidental deletion. You can find these backup files directly inside your application data directory.

Best Practices

We highly recommend occasionally copying these .db backup files to an external hard drive, USB flash drive, or your own private cloud storage (like Google Drive or Dropbox) for extra safety.
